Joshua Fair, LPC

Joshua brings a wealth of life experience to the counseling profession.  Prior to entering the counseling profession, Josh served 28 years in the military.  His military experience ranges from enlisted submarine service to deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a cavalry officer.  As a leader, he was often the first person a soldier or sailor would turn to for personal, marital, or family help.  His experience working with people from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds has given Joshua a deep respect for how people adapt and grow through the events of their lives.

Joshua has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Liberty University.  His diverse education, combined with his broad life experiences before becoming a counselor, uniquely equips him to relate to a broad range of situations and provide treatment interventions focused on the needs of the individual or couple.

Joshua’s passion is working with men and couples affected by addiction and relationship difficulties to understand themselves and their relationships and reclaim their lives in Christ.  This passion for helping people overcome their addictions has led Joshua to develop a model of addiction and recovery that is both simple to understand and yet applicable in all life situations.  Joshua facilitates one weekly seminar each week for men with addictive sexual behaviors.
